Official sees Russia to increase retirement age in 2025–2030
MOSCOW, Jul 9 (PRIME) --The retirement age in Russia may be increased in 2025–2030, Valery Ryazansky, chairman of the Federation Council’s committee for social policy, told reporters on Thursday.
“As for increase of the retirement age – it will happen. I believe, it is likely to happen in the period between 2025 and 2030,” he said.
At present, the retirement age in Russia is 55 years for women and 60 years for men.
The official expects the retirement age to be increased gradually and differentially for various age groups.
